2e2 is consulting with staff on its support desk about potentially outsourcing their functions to Indian firm Patni.
The process, which according to reports, will impact around 150 jobs in the UK is due to be completed on 25 July, said 2e2 group business development director Nick Grossman.

"We are looking at the viability of the move," he said, "whether some kind of partnership with Indian off-shore provider Patni gives us the flexibility, agility and access to the services we need, its something most of our competitors do."
Grossman could not provide a breakdown on the roles under discussion but confirmed it was the support desk for its managed services operation, outside of the first line - telephone response - which he said would remain unchanged.
The acquisition of Morse was completed by 2e2 last week and though it was financed in a debt for equity deal, the integrator still has a big chunk of debt to pay down; £150m according to last year's finances.
Grossman said: "Pricing is by no means what this is all about. Is there some price arbitrage in there? Clearly one would expect so but it's not driven by price, we are being asked to scale up or down very quickly with some cloud based services."
Following the consultation, it may decide the idea is "partially or wholly viable" or it may need to re-think things he said.
"Patni could take over running some of our operations and [staff] could stay exactly where they are today, there are all kinds of permutations here," he said.
The other possibility is that staff may transfer to Patni and then may lose their jobs in three months as the roles are transferred to India.
