CA has kicked off a two month campaign to grow the number of resellers it has in its channel with recovery management skills.

The 'CA Seeks' initiative starts today running until the end of March with the aim of attracting in dealers with the ability to sell recovery management by offering them the same or equivalent status level they hold with a competitive vendor.

The programme is running across Europe with the clear intention of helping the vendor grow market share by bolstering its backup and recovery expertise.

Chris Ross, vice president EMEA &Asia Pacific at CA's recovery management and data modeling business unit, said that it wanted to make a transition from a rival vendor straightforward "giving them a quick path to access our channel programme benefits".

Last week CA unveiled Q3 financial results indicating that the recovery in the enterprise software market was starting to filter through with expectations of a fairly strong performance in the year ahead.
