The Company
Our client is a well established global organisation selling a range of software and services to major multinational organisations. They are currently recruiting for a Channel Manager in the London, Home Counties or Thames Valley area to penetrate new markets and add to the existing portfolio of reseller offerings.

The Role
The purpose and remit of the Channel Manager role includes:
* Development of business with resellers selling into both public and private sector.
* Training reseller and channel sales teams to identify opportunities, providing training and support to resellers so that they can take the opportunity from initial contact to negotiation and closing of sales opportunities.
* Ensuring that resellers understand the compelling value proposition and benefits our clients software and services can deliver and that they can communicate this to end user clients.
* Build a reseller sales channel, monitor the sales pipeline of opportunities and ensure that the activities will lead to the sales target being achieved for the year.
* Our client has a portfolio of software products and services ranging from sales around 100k to multi-million pound solutions.

The Candidate
The Channel Manager skills and experience required for this role:-
* Proven track record in software sales, with experience in either Business Intelligence, Saas (Software as a service), or CRM and Web Content Management.
* Channel Sales experience is essential as is new business sales experience, and the candidate must have sold into the corporate blue chip marketplace.
* Experience selling software solutions and services ranging from 100k to over £1 million and be confident and able to deal at FD and Board Level.
* Commercially astute, the ability to develop annual sales and marketing plans
* Able to identify suitable companies to partner with in order to build the Reseller Channel, able to set up appointments at a senior level and develop excellent customer relationships.
* Computer literate, be organised, able to prioritise and deliver results.

The Reward
In return, the Channel Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package inc. £50k-£60k basic with a £120k uncapped OTE plus car allowance and 5 weeks holiday . Additionally our client offers excellent career progression opportunities for the right individual.
