Thank you from WITsend for a great event

Thank you to everyone who attended Computer Weekly's Women in IT event yesterday - the feedback has been so positive so thank you to all of our speakers for doing such a brilliant job!

I was lucky enough to help with the line-up this year, which meant I got to cherry pick the best speakers that I had seen or heard about over the last year or so. Thank you to our speakers for taking part and for making it such an interesting and fun afternoon.

Also, a big thank you to our sponsor Computacenter - who unfortunately I didn't get to talk to but would love to catch up with at some point, as several attendees let me know the great work that Computercenter is doing to encourage more women in to tech.

Coverage of the top 25 can be found on Computer Weekly in addition to an exclusive interview with the winner Joanna Shields, CEO of TechCity.

Pics and bios of the top 25 can be found here.

A huge congratulations to all who made the top 25 this year and also to our rising stars list. I have been inundated with emails this morning asking how to be considered for next year's list. So, if you would like to be considered or you would like to nominate someone you know then please get in touch.

I would love to hear from more men on this subject - if there are any males out there who would like to contribute towards posts on WITsend please do drop me a line as the lack of women in IT can't be resolved without your input.

More coverage from yesterday's event to follow on Computer Weekly!
