The Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network (DWEN) has kicked off its annual event with the theme of 'Pay it Forward.'

Taking place in Istanbul, Turkey, this week DWEN's event unites female entrepreneurs who are seeking to develop business ideas and communities through new business relationships and technology solutions.

The 'Pay if Forward' initiative aims to help more than one million aspiring women entrepreneurs by the end of 2015.  The Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network, Women Powering Business community and Wise Dell team has 10,000 members. Dell is encouraging each member to help at least 10 women entrepreneurs, who in turn will 'Pay it Forward' and help 10 more.

In terms of "help" this could be through financial support, time, or the sharing of knowledge for example.

DWEN's 2013 annual event now, in its fourth year and co-sponsored by Intel, runs June 2-4. Previous DWEN conferences have been held in New Delhi, India (2012); Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2011); and Shanghai, China (2010).
