LinkedIn breach reveals discontent and sad git

Downtime was interested in reading about some of the passwords that were revealed in the huge LinkedIn hack recently. It seems many people are not happy at work. The article also revealed  that some people spend too much time thinking of passwords.

killmenow, iwishiwasdead, and hatemyjob are examples of some of the passwords that were unearthed, according to a Daily Mail article.

One reader of the Mail article has advice for people desperate for passwords that are secure and easy to remember.

The reader said: "I use the initial letters of songs with two numbers after eg; Sitting on the Dock of the Bay would be SotDotB62. Favourite songs are good and it makes strong passwords and less likely to forget them."

Yeah right. Get a life.

My personal approach is that if I can remember a password it is probably not secure.
