Traffic wardens find a friend in GPS-enabled devices

Technology has come to the rescue of a newly endangered species. The once feared force of London parking attendants are coming under increasing attacks from the public.

GPS-enabled panic alarms are to help pinpoint the position of wardens in distress. Issuing fewer fines would probably work just as well. That is not likely, though. Funding for the gizmos will have to come from somewhere.
