Teenage hackers put the fun back into computer crime

Security firms would have us believe that joyful teenage hackers have been replaced by ruthless organised professional criminals, but the puerile variety has definitely not gone away.

To prove it, some bright sparks in the US hacked into an electronic road sign system. Standard warning messages were quickly replaced with hoax warnings that said, "Caution! Zombies ahead!" and other variations on the theme.
