US and Denmark get housing market moving

It is true that computers improve -mobility, but Danish artists and US scientists have taken the concept a bit too far by building a walking house. Yes, thanks to the wonders of technology, you may soon be able to take your house for walkies too.

A prototype built on six computer-controlled hydraulic legs can stroll across all terrains. But the house is not just for those with a wanderlust; it will enable homeowners to literally walk away from problems such as floods, designers say. And noisy neighbours!
