Reasons not to improve public sector data security and accuracy

Nurse at computerSo, government departments may not be complying with the Data Protection Act, the national prisoner database is riddled with errors, and as readers of Computer Weekly and Tony Collins' blog will be well aware, many problems beset the NHS summary care records scheme and the rest of the National Programme for IT.
