I've been researching a number of companies that all do the same thing - not that you'd know it from the guff on their websites - their main differentiator was confusion. You need to keep your message simple.  To paraphrase Kipling's maxim on the 5Ws: Use these five serving-folk. They say just what they do. To make sense of any site just ask What, Why, When, Where and Who.

Does your website say: What you do. Why you do it. When you do it. Why you do it and Who you are  - nothing else matters. Yesterday, I linked to some guidelines for recession proofing your website that I've been through in more detail. Get yourself a copy they make a lot of sense. As they say: Keep It Short & Simple.
