We are looking for IT superheroes to help us debunk the myth that IT is an industry that is full of IT nerds and geeks.... in the words of Bonnie Tyler we are "Holding out for a Hero" (man or woman I hasten to add, so please substitute as appropriate below!)

So forget Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman...Forget Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Larry Ellison...
ComputerWeekly.com and Firebrand Training have joined forces to find the superheroes of IT. We have launched a competition to look for the men and women with the power to fight the stereotypical image of the geeky IT pro.
Our band of superheroes will be IT specialists with the proven ability to achieve excellent results in both the professional and personal spheres. IT professionals who can act as ambassadors for the industry, inspiring others to pursue a career in IT.
Do you have what it takes to join our IT superhero team?
Each of our three heroes will win an iPod Touch and the one chosen as team leader will receive IT training and certification worth £6,000 to help them reach their maximum potential.
The competition is open to all IT workers in the UK.
Entrants
need to highlight the cutting edge and essential work they're carrying
out for companies or in their community. The winning entries will be
invited to become 'IT ambassadors' to encourage others to join the
industry and change the current perception of IT. Join the fight for
