Rebecca Froley

Rebecca FroleyRebecca Froley is deputy web editor at ComputerWeekly.com. She joined the team at the end of October 2007.

'I’ve worked in onscreen / online publishing for most of my career, having started out as a tester and proof-reader on the UK edition of Microsoft’s Encarta 1998 encyclopedia, before moving on to copy edit and section edit for later editions. After that I worked at Church House Publishing, the Church of England's publishing wing, where I project managed an interactive liturgical CD-ROM to help Church of England vicars get the right words for their church services, and was launch web editor of an ecumenical church resource site. I was also privileged to act for a while as secretary to the Church of England’s National IT Steering Group. Since joining RBI as a sales support administrator in a risky bid to get back into the mainstream commercial sector, I worked my way up to web manager at ContractJournal.com, RBI-UK’s lead construction industry title, and am now enjoying my role as deputy web editor here at ComputerWeekly.com.'
