Brian McKenna

Brian McKenna is the Editor of Computer Weekly.

He joined the CW team in March 2007, coming from Elsevier where he was the launch editor of Infosecurity magazine.

Also at Elsevier, he directed three information security journals — including Computers & Security and Information Security Technical Report.

In 2001-2, he designed, led and project managed the BT Vision 100 research and awards programme, with Cranfield School of Management and The Guardian.

He worked at VNU from 1998-2001, where he edited two information science journals, Knowledge Management magazine, and Information World Review.

He also worked on VNUnet to develop new online content streams for senior business decision makers.

From 1992-7 he was a British Academy post doctoral fellow at the University of Oxford; he was also a lecturer at Wadham College, Oxford and a junior research fellow at Wolfson College, Oxford.

He has published several essays in peer reviewed journals, and has reviewed for UK national newspapers, including The Times Higher Education Supplement.
