The extreme right British National Party (BNP) claims
its website has been attacked by cybercriminals in Eastern
Europe.
The Register reported that BNP leader Nick Griffin is asking
for donations to help the party
fix the problem caused by a distributed denial of service (DDoS)
attack.
A DDoS attack is a method used by cyber attackers to make a
website unavailable. It often involves the site being constantly
bombarded with requests.
Griffin asks for help to "fight back against the Marxist
cybercriminals!" in a letter sent to BNP supporters.
