An MP was "devastated" after his
Facebook account was hacked and rogue messages sent to over
1,500 of his friends on the site.
Michael Fabricant, MP for Lichfield, clicked on a message saying
"Look at this" that took him to a page containing malware.
The message was then sent to all his friends, and Facebook
blocked his account.
He said, "I am devastated. This has never happened to me before
and I can only apologise."
He changed his password and emailed Facebook after the hacking,
which happened last week. His account was
back
up and running today.
