Square the alphametic pie to reveal the correct digits

This alphametic has been created in honour of that remarkable number p, which is exactly equal to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. As usual, each of the eight letters of the alphabet used conceals a specific digit.

Ancient Greek mathematicians paid a lot of attention to p, and Archimedes showed that its precise numerical value lies between 3 10/71 and 3 10/70. And of course there is pr2 = the area of a circle.
