BT today signed a seven-year, £370m
contract extension with HP. HP will provide, deploy and support
BT's servers and data storage. HP will also deliver service desk
and end-user services to more than 100,000 users across BT in the
UK.
The companies said the BT-HP relationship had created about £3bn
of new revenue for BT and HP since 2004. In the year to 31 March
2008, BT Group's revenue was £20.7bn with pre-tax profit of
£2.5bn.
