SAP Netweaver gets new business process management capabilities to support SOAs

SAP has unveiled business process management features for its Netweaver platform.

SAP Netweaver Business Process Management and SAP Netweaver Business Rules Management are designed to bolster Netweaver's support for service-oriented architectures (SOAs).

"The new tools will provide the business process flexibility needed to enable customers to turn strategic business insight into real-world execution," said SAP.

SAP Netweaver is designed to allow IT organisations to quickly respond to requests from the business for new or adapted business processes.

The addition of the new Netweaver features will enable business process experts to design, model and immediately execute new or adapted business processes without having to develop code, said SAP.
