The Government is keen to develop its shared services programmes
across public sector IT departments as part of its plan to deliver
transformational government, but installing a shared services
culture can be complicated and difficult.
Debbie Ellis, head of shared services at the Department of
Transport, shares her experiences of implementing such a program at
the DfT.
