Workplacepsychometricsfirm SHL has signed a six-year £23m IToutsourcingcontract withCapgemini UK.
Capgemini will maintain and transform the whole IT
infrastructure at SHL and provide support for about 1,000 desktop
users at 35 locations across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia
Pacific.
The transition, which begins immediately, involves the transfer
of IT from three datacentres in the US and Europe to a single
Capgemini secure datacentre located in Bristol.
User and technical support will be based at Capgemini service
centres in Katowice, Poland and Mumbai, India respectively, and
back-up support will be provided from Rotherham, south
Yorkshire.
It is expected that about 20 SHL IT staff will transfer to
Capgemini under TUPE.
Andy Ross, chief information and technology officer at SHL,
