The extension of the start-up programme will also cover Israel, said Sun. As well as discounted Sun products and services, UK and Israeli firms will also be offered cut-price web hosting services from new Sun partner NTT Europe Online.

Launched in November 2006, more than 1,300 companies in the US and Asia are already benefiting from the start-up programme, said Sun.
