BT extends IT services reach in Asia Pacific with £64m acquisition

BTis extending its IT services reach in the Asia Pacific region with the £64m takeover of Frontline Technologies of Singapore.

Frontline provides IT consulting, infrastructure services, systems integration and IT outsourcing to customers in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.

The completion of the acquisition is subject to the approval of Frontline shareholders and confirmation by the High Court of Singapore.

The takeover continues BT's rapid expansion of its international services business through acquisitions.
