Paul Danahy, senior director, backup and archiving
strategy
Paul Danahy is senior director for backup and archiving strategy
in EMC's Global Product Sales organization. In this role, he is
responsible for EMC campaign strategy and integrated product
solutions, with a focus on the backup, recovery and archive space.
Danahy has been with EMC since 1997 and has more than 15 years of
experience in the storage industry, holding positions in product
management, marketing, system engineering and sales.
Prior to his current role, Danahy ran EMC's Backup, Recovery and
Archive Practice on a worldwide basis. Before that, he was the
corporate evangelist for the CLARiiON product family, and prior to
that was one of the first employees in EMC's commercial sales
division. Danahy holds a BS in Computer and Systems Engineering
from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
