Enterprise-class file virtualisation solutions provider
Attune Systems is offering a free infrastructure and data usage
assessment to qualified potential customers.
The free analysis report represents a sub-set of the Symphony
Service solution that Attune provides and the abbreviated report
will analyse and provide insights about data usage and
heterogeneous server performance based on several parameters such
as CPU utilisation and file aging.
For the qualified customers, Attune or a reseller partner will
provide a temporary out-of-band deployment of Attune's Maestro File
Manager FM5500, which will monitor and analyse the customer's
environment. The resulting deliverable will include a summary
report along with observations and comments regarding how customers
can optimise the placement of their data and existing file storage
resources.
"These reports allow system administrators to see how their file
servers and NAS resources are being loaded over time, as well as to
understand data access and utilisation in a meaningful way,” says
Daniel Liddle, Attune's vice-president of marketing.
Customer candidates with predominantly Common Internet File System
(CIFS)-based unstructured file data in heterogeneous environments
will have priority for the offer. Recipients of the free service
will also have the option to upgrade to the full Symphony Service
package and/or to purchase the Attune Maestro File Manager for
full-scale file virtualisation, including custom namespace,
non-disruptive file migration, policy-based data management and
automated disruption avoidance.
