The BA London Eye will go live with its overhauled
booking and reservation system this week.
BT Realtoplus is designed to automate exchanges with trade
partners, which were previously manual. The system also uses
handheld wireless ticket scanners to automate ticket collection,
and customers can order and print tickets, incorporating barcodes,
via the web.
BTRealtoplus supports multiple European currencies and
languages, as half of the London Eye's 3.5 million annual visitors
are from overseas.
