nuclear energy company British Energy.

services for several core systems at British Energy, including
finance, human resources and document management.

and contractors to Capgemini.
Technology platforms being used on the contract include Oracle

Server, and BMC Patrol network management.
To win the contract Capgemini had to satisfy compliance
regulations set by the Office of Civil Nuclear Sites and the
National Nuclear Inspectorate.
Andrew Ralston, British Energy information management manager
for projects and services, said, "Capgemini has proved its ability
to innovate to good effect and to enhance quality of service, while
at the same time drive down costs."
The applications management part of the contract will be based
at Capgemini's Scottish headquarters in Glasgow, while desktop and
server support will be run from Capgemini offices in Inverness and
Birmingham.
Capgemini will also deploy staff at British Energy locations in
