Financial management company Merrill Lynch has selected
Avaya solutions for its new corporate campus offices spanning three
continents.
Avaya will implement its Communication Manager IP telephony
S8700 solutions for over 10,000 employees at Merrill Lynch
facilities in Sydney in Australia, Sao Paulo in Brazil, and several
locations in the US including its New York HQ.
All the facilities will have Avaya IP Softphone, a mobility
feature that gives employees access to all that IP telephony
delivers regardless of their physical location. For example, mobile
staff will be able to make and receive calls remotely from a laptop
or PC.
