Actuate Corporation has launched Actuate Financial
Performance Management with the claim that is the first software to
directly integrate data from disparate financial, HR, revenue and
budgeting and forecasting systems and present them on
demand.
Actuate said the software let companies distribute fiscal
responsibility throughout the enterprise, helped drive financial
performance, and assisted in compliance with US federal regulations
such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
According to Actuate, in order to reconcile the competing
demands of rigorous regulatory and global competition, companies
need to tap the financial knowledge of all employees by effectively
distributing fiscal responsibility across the organisation.
Actuate FPM delivers financial reports which include data pulled
directly from heterogeneous planning, budgeting, human resource,
sales and financial systems.
Other features include a report library, organisational
summaries, revenue and expense details, collaboration tools, role
and responsibility-based data access and iServer.
iServer provides an infrastructure for disseminating
interactive, actionable business information to employees,
customers and partners. It provides access to multiple financial
systems in sources such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Hyperion Essbase, DB2,
SQL, Sybase, Oracle DB, Progress, Excel, ODBC, JDBC and XML.
