This week marks a golden opportunity for IT managers to
meet the key players on the IT and information security scene at
Infosecurity Europe, the UK's largest IT security
show.
As IT security is one of the top management and technical
challenges for all IT directors, the event at Olympia, London, is
essential. You will see and hear from the likes of Steve Marsh,
director of the Cabinet Office's IT security initiative; Peter
Kaye, security adviser to the Bank of England; Richard Hackworth,
head of group IT security at HSBC; Gordon Irving, director of group
security for Scottish Power; and John Meakin, group head of
information security for Standard Chartered Bank.
These experts are just five of the 15 heavyweights giving keynote
presentations at the event, which starts today (Tuesday) and runs
to Thursday (29 April).
Each day there is a keynote session giving an insight into the
Department of Trade and Industry information security breaches
survey, the most comprehensive survey of its type in the UK.
The keynote sessions are free , as are the 60 seminar sessions at
Infosecurity Europe, which includes a major exhibition of IT
security products and services.
